2012 Volunteer Opportunities
(1) We need volunteers to work the Casino on Jan. 13 & 14, 2012. If you are able to do so, please email Priscilla using this contact form.
(2) The Calgary Arts Summer School Association is looking for a volunteer board member who has a Public Relations background and marketing experience.
Help is needed with promotion, event planning, sponsorship development, and grant writing. Charity experience is a bonus, but is not required.
Please call Linda Kundert-Stoll, CASSA President & Artistic Director at 403-271-0418, or email to discuss possibilities. The Board meets four mornings a year, and the next meeting is on Thursday, December 15, 2011, 9:15 am at the CASSA office in Parkland.

WHO WE ARE
For nearly 20 years, CASSA has provided quality arts education with a high level of professional instruction within a completely unique, inter-disciplinary summer arts school.Whether students are only beginning their artistic education or are advanced in their studies, CASSA has something for everyone! CASSA is the summer school for the arts!
Initiated in 1993 by a small group of Calgary music teachers in collaboration with a local piano dealer and incorporated in 1996 as a non-profit society, the Calgary Arts Summer School Association (CASSA) has grown into a comprehensive summer arts program representing numerous artistic disciplines.
Since its inception, over 5000 students from age four through adult have participated in the diverse and innovative programs offered by CASSA including Musical Theatre Showtime, Piano Camp, Adult Piano Camp, Improv Camp, PlayWriting Camp, Music, Drama, Movement & Art Camp, Jazz Connection, Music Theory Workshop, CASS Recital, and Piano Pedagogy Workshop.
These programs have attracted participants from throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and from as far away as the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and South America.
CASSA is a registered charity.

Albertans Can Obtain a Charitable Tax Credit for Donating to CASSA
Effective January 2007, the Alberta government raised the charitable tax credit for eligible annual donations above $200 by 60 per cent. Including the federal tax credit, Albertans now receive a 50 per cent non-refundable tax credit for every dollar donated over the $200 threshold.
