Sponsorship Opportunities
The
Calgary Arts Summer School was founded in 1993
and for over a decade has provided
children and adults with quality performing
and visual arts programs in the summer months.
Demand for CASSA's programs has steadily
increased and the association continues to
attract out
of province registration.
In
order to continue to prove quality education
with a high level of professional instruction,
the Calgary Arts Summer School is seeking
corporate sponsors for long term partnerships.
The benefits of sponsorship with CASSA:
You
will be recognized on all promotional material
and logos will be featured on all
on-site signage at CASSA camps and events.
You will
feature heavily in our direct
mail campaign to schools across
Western Canada,
music shops and area related organizations,
both in Western Canada and into the U.S.
You
receive acknowledgement
in all print, audio and on line advertising.
Sponsors
are eligible for complimentary
recital programs, free tickets for
CASSA concerts and will receive complimentary
registration to
one CASSA program.
CASSA
is a registered charity and your sponsorships
will be tax deductible.
Your
company will play a
major role in enriching Calgary's cultural
fabric,
helping the city
be recognized as a leader in summer
music arts programming.
Help
CASSA continue to bring quality arts education
to children each summer. A variety of sponsorship
opportunities are available, ranging from major
sponsorship of CASSA to support for individual
programs and becoming a "Friend of CASSA."
Should you wish more details on sponsorship
programs, please contact me directly.
Thank
you,

Marissa
Staddon Memorial Scholarship
The
Marissa Staddon Memorial Scholarship
is awarded to the Piano Camper who
displays the most outstanding attitude,
citizenship and talent. This award
reflects the values which are firmly
entrenched in the Calgary Arts Summer
School Piano Camp’s philosophy
and program.
The
recipient is a person who:
takes
advantage in the finest way possible
of all that was offered during
the week of Piano Camp,
arrives
at the camp with their musical
selections extremely well prepared,
throughout
the week demonstrates openness
to new ideas,
participates
enthusiastically in all of the
activities,
interacts
well with fellow campers and faculty,
and
can
be described as a positive role
model for their fellow campers.
CASSA
has set up a Marissa Staddon Memorial
Scholarship Fund to award a $100
cash prize to the most outstanding
Piano Camp student each year. As
the fund grows, this special award
will continue and other deserving
student awards will be given.
Marissa
Staddon was tragically killed in
an avalanche in 2003. She had been
a student at CASSA piano camps.
This scholarship, which reflects
her personality, recognizes and
encourages others to maintain the
high standard that Marissa held
for herself.
Irina
Ginzburg Memorial Scholarship
The
Irina Ginzburg Memorial Scholarship
is awarded to the most improved Piano
Camper who comes to camp well prepared
and incorporates suggestionsand guidance
from the clinician and teachers with
good will and enthusiasm.
CASSA
created a memorial to the late
Irina Ginzburg who was an enthusiastic
supporter of its summer programs. She
was first a volunteer at the Piano
Camp, then joined the teaching
staff and became an active member
of the CASSA Board of Directors. In
her honour, a scholarship prize
of $100 is awarded to the most
improved Piano Camp student(s).
CASSA Sponsor-a-Student Program
Your
tax-deductible contribution to the CASSA
Sponsor-a-Student program will help one or
more students to attend one or more of our
programs. You
will receive a tax deductible receipt, your
name will be included on our list of donors
on performance and recital programs and on
our website. Your contribution will enhance
the ongoing education of music and arts students
in a professional and nurturing environment. The
student's registration fee covers approximately 50% of the actual cost
of their participation.
